Le Blanche Murée, an altitude restaurant at 2020 m, is located between the area of Peisey Vallandry and Les Arcs 1800, on the edge of the rocky slopes. Our restaurant, built on the foundations of an old alpine chalet, enjoys an exceptional location with a view of Mont Blanc and the Tarentaise valley. Take advantage of our setting for a meal with family, friends or simply to have a drink on our large terrace facing south. At Blanche Murée everything is done to ensure that your winter holidays remain a wonderful memory.

Enjoy a moment of relaxation on the slopes of Peisey Vallandry. Blanche Murée’s terrace enjoys exceptional sunshine with a breathtaking view of the Mont Blanc and the Tarentaise valley. Enjoy our snacks, platters, cold or hot drinks at any time of the day. Every two Sundays of each month we welcome a DJ to set the scene.

Our history
…
The white Murée restaurant is above all a family dream. In a former mountain pasture, the family building was transformed in 1993 into an altitude restaurant on the initiative of two brothers, Claude and Thierry Buthod and their cousin Albert Boy. After 28 years of good and loyal service, they decide to return the apron… or rather to give it to their nephew Melvyn Marchand-Maillet. Trained in the greatest altitude restaurants and already managing a restaurant in Annecy, Melvyn has solid experience in catering and is happy to take over this Peisey Vallandry institution. While preserving the friendly and warm soul of the place, a personal touch is added by creating, in addition to the restaurant, a snack bar accessible on skis. A new menu has been prepared, where of course the famous tartiflette, a must-have dish of Blanche Murée, remains present. To maintain the festive spirit of the restaurant, we call on a DJ every other Sunday to liven up the large terrace discreetly nestled in the heart of the forest called … Blanche Murée.
